Escort® 19 EC: Insecticide or Miticide

Product Overview: Escort® 19 EC is a potent insecticide or miticide designed for the control of various pests on a range of crops. With its active ingredient, Emamectin benzoate, it targets diamondback moths on cabbages, thrips, spider mites, and caterpillars on French beans and roses, thrips on tomatoes, capsicum, and onions, and fall armyworms on maize.

Mode of Action: Emamectin benzoate disrupts the neurotransmitters of target pests, leading to the disruption of nerve impulses. Its systemic action makes it effective against a variety of pests.

Mode of Action: Systemic

Target Pests: Caterpillar, Diamondback moth, Fall armyworm, Red Spider mites, and thrips

Application Guide:

• For roses, French beans, cabbage, capsicum, onions, & tomatoes, apply 0.4 ml per litre of water (8 ml per 20 litres).
• For maize, use 1.25 ml per litre of water to control fall armyworm.
• Apply at the first signs of insect infestation and repeat every 7–10 days.

Application Method:

• For roses, French beans, cabbage, capsicum, onions, & tomatoes, apply foliar spraying using 1000 litres of water per hectare.
• For maize, apply foliar spraying using 400 liters of water per hectare.

Re-Entry Interval: Do not enter treated areas 12 hours after application until the spray has dried unless wearing cotton overalls buttoned to the neck and all other protective gear, which must be washed after every use.
